It all started with a single discovery! When David Rives was just 8 years old, he found his very first fossil in his Tennessee backyard — a moment that ignited a lifelong passion for science, exploration, and discovery. What began as a few fossil treasures kept in a fishing tackle box has grown into something extraordinary: The Wonders Center & Science Museum, now the largest science museum in Tennessee!

Visitors can now see David’s original fossil box on display and experience the story of how one boy’s curiosity turned into a world-class science museum.
